Parking Lot Giveaway - Each summer for the past several years, we have held a yard sale in the parking lot.  Typically in late July or early August.  However, this is not just your normal yard sale, all of the items are given away for free.  Yes, thats right, FREE.  Why do we do this? One, it is a great way to help those in need, but also, and more importantly, we would like to take the time to get to know those in the neighborhood and share God's word.  In addition to the normal goods and items, there are Bibles, framed artwork of Bible verses, and much more.  Please check back in the summer to find out when then next Parking Lot Giveaway will take place.

Gospel Meeting - Every Sunday night at 6:30 pm the Gospel is preached.  What is the Gospel?  This is the most important message from the Bible.  It tells of a God who loves you and me.  A God that is interested in having a personal relationship with each person.  And this God sent His own Son (the Lord Jesus) to live on this world, and to provide a way for us to be forgiven of God.  Romans 1:16 - "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth."

Every one of us has been "seperated" from God by what we have done.  The Bible shows us how we are all sinners (Romans 3:23) and how that none of us can ever claim to be a truely good person (Romans 3:12).  It is quite sobering when we realize how our actions have set us apart from God, and will lead to ultimate punishment for what we have done (Hebrews 9:27).  The awesome message is that because of God's love for us, He sent the Lord Jesus (John 3:16) to take our punishment upon himself by dying on the cross (1 Peter 2:24) thus freeing us from the punishment to come.

If you do can not answer with certainty that you know your sins have been forgiven, then you are in need of this message.  Please join us on Sunday nights at 6:30 pm to learn more.
